Evergreen Brick Works hosted a bumpin’ industry night this past week and let me tell you, it was a quintessential Canadian winter wonderland! Planners, select vendors and Client VIP’s were invited down to eat, mingle, network and enjoy a casual evening full of splendor and festivities.
This annual industry event serves as the perfect showpiece to demonstrate Brickworks’ capabilities as a supremely versatile, all-season event space. This blank canvas space features an industrial pavilion complete with character-rich, exposed brick walls (the ultimate Client-pleaser) and, of course, an open air skating rink wrapped around luscious evergreens!
Dawning our toques, long-johns, cozy mittens, and a cup of “adult” hot cocoa, guests enjoyed a truly unique evening from start to finish. Complete with skating, fabulous food, and loads of stunning inspiration, the team at Brickworks along with their team of preferred vendors, put on a truly unique event to be enjoyed by all. Barb from Tara McMullen Photography captures all of the details.
Now if you’re hosting a winter event and are in need of some serious florals, Stemz is your go-to. The team created a lovely hanging installation, which was beautifully rigged and set up by EPiQVision, as well as subtle accent touches throughout the space. The installation was a definite show stopper. All the stunning furniture was provided by Divine Furniture Rental and highlighted by beautiful string lights, a light tunnel and a spectacular DJ Booth on ice – all of which was set up by the team at EpiQ Vision.
No event is complete without a good bar. Muskoka Brewery provided a variety of options available for all the beer lovers! A variety of Evergreen branded wine was provided by Stratus and of course, a featured hot cocktail was also available courtesy of Top Shelf Distillers.
Preferred caterers, Food Dudes and Cafe Belong prepared quite the spread for guests! The Food Dudes provided a significant array of passed appetizers, warm tomato soup and a most-delicious Sous Vide Prime Beef dish that was melt-in-your-mouth amazing! Another great way to warm up!
In-house caterer Cafe Belong featured a large variety of delectable desserts including Marcarons, Chocolate Mousse, Cookies and more. A great way to satisfy any sweet tooth!
The Idea Hunter provided the entertainment for the evening, including the wicked talents of both a live beat-boxer and a saxophone player. Their talents were all the more impressive given that they each performed their respective crafts while skating at the same time!
A big thank you to the team at Evergreen Brick Works for inviting us down and hosting such a unique and fun event! We can’t wait for next year!
