Having married over 400 couples in just a few short years, the team at The Pop-Up Chapel Co. is excited to be introducing a brand new, stunning new venue to their Toronto venue roster. The Parkdale Hall is a multi-use event space in the heart of the unique Parkdale neighbourhood in Toronto. Their space features the original ceiling of the historic Parkdale theatre, restored 100 years after its construction in 1920. This space screams Victoriana, so the team pulled all sorts of inspiration from the unique elements to bring this Chapel photoshoot to life.
The backdrop was inspired by the iconic Parkdale Hall ceiling and florals by Nagham Jafer-Cararah brought in a touch of romance with rich reds and tons of lush greenery. To tie it all together, team brought in lots of luxurious velvets and rich jewel tones to amp up the moody vintage vibes.
All the couples wore unique outfits provided by The Fitzroy and were adorned in stunning pieces of jewelry from Dean Davidson, a Toronto jewelry designer. Outfits were chosen based on the different Chapel couples’ styles including colourful suits, floral prints, and a classic white ensemble. When it comes to Chapel fashion, anything goes!
