In 2012, the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum welcomed the addition of a Community Centre to the existing 6 heritage buildings on site. This Community Centre offers full accessibility and two modern rental spaces for social and corporate events. Blending state of the art amenities with scenic views of the original heritage buildings, this modern space is the ideal destination for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate rentals, retreats, celebrations and special events.

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum has been our family go-to space for events. I hosted both of my daughters’ baby showers in the Main Hall as well as my daughter’s bridal shower (during Covid), in the Courtney Yard.
The space is user friendly and very inviting for guests. The staff is wonderful and very helpful, from booking to helping with setting up tables and chairs. I would definitely recommend the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum for your upcoming events.

We recently held my daughter's baby shower at the museum. It was the perfect venue as we were beyond thrilled with absolutely everything. The event coordinator Julia, was so pleasant, professional and helpful from the beginning till end. She was actually on-site the day of the event to assist with any last minute details. I would highly recommend using this venue for any occasion as the room, the grounds and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Thanks again for allowing us to host our event at the museum...a day to remember!!

Our organization held our annual training at the W.S museum this month. Julia and her team were incredibly helpful and an overall pleasure to work with, they made the facilitation of this event seamless. We particularly appreciated how spacious the room was and how warm it felt with all the natural light, it definitely made our time there enjoyable. The only downside to this venue is that the restrooms are located on the lower level which made it not as easily accessible for some of our employees. However, all in all, I would recommend this venue to any interested parties, especially to those who are looking for a truly authentic local experience.

We did our wedding back in November here with a small ceremony. There was only 6 people. Julia helped hold our small ceremony. It was a lovely day as there was snow on the ground. The venue was perfect for my wife and I as we are both teachers. Our wedding was held in a classroom! Thank you Julia. Take care.

We were married in early September on the grounds and so liked the facility and ambience that we had our reception there in early November. It was a great success and everything we hoped for. The staff were exceptionally helpful with special kudos to Julia who answered every question and concern promptly as well as marrying us. We both highly recommend the grounds and facilities.
