Historic wedding venues – our building was founded seven years after Confederation, as a home for the Canada First Party. Housed originally near the former site of the Toronto Stock Exchange, the club moved to our present home at 303 Bay Street in 1907. We offer a unique historic ambience in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Professional coordinators – One of our experienced and professional Coordinators will work directly with you to answer all your questions, provide recommendations and referrals and assist with coordination of all your logistics.

I have booked two multi-day conferences and multiple receptions, banquets and special events with The National Club over the past twelve years, and I can attest that the staff consistently goes above and beyond. Laurie is a master of planning logistics, solutions-based problem solving, and special request accommodation. Jose and Rickie and their wait staff and set up crews are attentive, warm and amazingly efficient. Maggie and Clifton at the concierge desk are always welcoming and helpful. The food is top notch, and the club itself is a well-maintained slice of Toronto history. The recently renovated top floor is exquisite. The private dining rooms, intimate meeting rooms, main dining room/ball room and roof top patio can accommodate the needs of any gathering. Highly recommend!

In May 2024 we had our wedding at the National Club with 175 guests and we had two ceremonies (a western ceremony and Korean one). The National club event planning staff were beyond exceptional to work with on our unique logistical challenges. The staff that supported on the day of wedding with event set up and tear down as well as the F&B teams were fantastic. We did a buffet dinner and passed appetizers, every one of our guests commented how amazing the food was as well as the quality of the bar service team. The event staff also allowed us to put up personal photos on the new digital screens in the main dining room which gave it a personal touch. The city central location also allowed for us to take some great photos in an urban setting which was appealing to my spouse and I. We also booked all the guest rooms and which made the logistics for us and our families that were staying there so incredibly smooth and the quality of the rooms were 5 star. I would highly recommend having your wedding at The National Club it is the perfect fit of a heritage feel with modern touches and exceptional amenities.

My wedding at The National Club on November 4th, 2023, was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we chose this venue, we were impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail, from the ceremony space, elegant tablecloths to accommodating specific allergies and dietary restrictions for our guests, was meticulously taken care of.

The rooftop cocktail hour was simply magical, offering both indoor and outdoor space (great - no matter the weather!) and a perfect ambiance for mingling and enjoying delicious drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Moving into the main dining room for the reception was seamless, and the space was beautifully transformed to reflect our vision for the evening. The digital frames in the main dining room, played a slideshow of our personal photos the whole night - guests loved it! The food is amazing. We were able to completely customize our menu, including amazing vegan options, with the help of the talented chefs.

One of the most convenient aspects was being able to rent out the bedrooms upstairs. It made the entire event feel like a complete experience, allowing us and our families to have a space to get ready and then relax and continue celebrating without worrying about transportation or logistics after the festivities wrapped up.

Overall, The National Club exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The combination of impeccable service, stunning venue spaces, and attention to detail made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We cannot recommend The National Club highly enough for anyone looking to create a magical and seamless event experience.

The National Club was the ultimate host in every capacity for our wedding. My husband and I were married on June 3, 2017, and it was the perfect Toronto setting. We had guests from all over, near and and overseas, and it was an amazing experience for anyone. This is a private club and a Toronto heritage landmark. Our guests were extremely excited to have access to the club and see what is behind the big beautiful doors. Our ceremony was at our parish in the west end of Toronto. Upon arrival, guests were directed to the rooftop patio for hand-passed appetizers. This really set the tone, and some of our guests are STILL raving about this detail. Having access to any rooftop overlooking the financial core is extremely rare. Guests were then directed to the main dining room on the 2nd level. The food was excellent. Cooking prime rib to everyone's tastes for approximately 130 guests is a feat, but the staff nailed it. Our guests also had the option of chicken or vegan. All of the food for our wedding was made in house, including our beautiful wedding cake, which looked like something out of a wedding magazine. After dinner, guests were directed up to the 3rd floor - the "Red Room". The National Club put down a dance floor for us, and our DJ's equipment was no issue from an A/V perspective. We danced the night away, and had delicious late night food including sliders, pizza, and fries. My husband and I stayed at the Club that night, as did some of our wedding party. Words cannot express my gratitude towards the National Club team. Renata Zaborowski supported us in every capacity to ensure that this was the best day of our lives. Chef, the kitchen, serving and bar staff, with special mention to Jose Sorto, were unbelievable. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

For the 3rd year in a row one of my customers has used the National Club as the main venue for all events for the season. As an event planner for 25 years, with events across North America, I have never found a better establishment to work with. Everybody from the Club house manager to the person who greets you at the door is top notch. Staff remember your name and smile and say hello. After 3 years some even give me a hug hello. The venue is fantastic, the food above average, even the AV is top quality. We have held several types of events at the National Club and every request has been met with a smile and quickly looked after. If you find anything not to your satisfaction mention it and someone will help resolve the problem. This venue is all about customer service. It is evident in everything they do from start to finish they will partner with you to make your event what you want. This is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend to anyone that they take a look at the National Club.
