From the 36th floor of Meis Van Der Rohe designed TD South Tower, big city palates are pleasantly surprised by our craft kitchen, which marries both traditional flavours and ingenuity for our loyal Bay St. fan base. In our modern yet relaxed interior, our well informed team truly delivers on the promise of world class service. Stratus's Private Event Rooms host intimate seated dinners for 10 guests, to larger parties of 100 people with our full buy-outs on weekends. Your standing cocktail reception can comfortably cater to a 50 person guest list in your choice of our East or West rooms, or have the place to yourself and include our bar and lounge area for up to 200 guests.

The minimum f&b for full buyout is reasonable especially if you have a decent anticipated drink consumption. The pricing for the dinner options, hors d'oevres and drinks is very competitive. The extra value from this venue is: service (the event coordinator and event manager were exceptional), quality of food (rave reviews for tenderloin), setting and ambience. I will add that there was excellent attention to detail (that you might not get at a more usual restaurant venue) like arranging Kosher meals, attentive order taking for preferences in the night, and set up exactly as planned in advance with the coordinator. We only needed microphones for speeches and the sound system was good, everyone could hear.
There was also a nice little side alcove (their wine room) where the dessert/fruit and coffee/tea could be set up.
Very professional yet warm experience. One of our best parties to date.

The restaurant's washrooms were not accessible to us and me and my customers were asked to use the Gym washrooms across the hallway! We did not expect to bump across nude men at a Corporate Holiday event! The washroom as expected was disgusting, and this move by Stratus became quiet a laughing stock on the dinner table! Let alone the embracement it caused me as a host!
Secondly, I picked Stratus as a venue as they have a beautiful floor plan and a great ambience, sadly they had created small sections to separate the various parties which made the restaurant look really small and unimpressive. Something the restaurant should put some thought in.
As far as the food goes, the selection of the 3 course meal was just okay, there were no options for the dessert, so if you are not a fan of the lemon creme Brulé, you were pretty much out of luck!
