I pride myself in being versatile and I am familiar with so many genres such as: Current Top 40, Hip Hop & RnB, Jersey Club, Drill, Old School (50s > 2000s), EDM, Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Dembow, Cumbia, Punjabi, South Asian, Greek, Persian, Egyptian, Italian, Portuguese, French, Brazilian, etc

Do you take requests?

Yes, I do! Clients can submit their own playlists (i.e. Spotify, YouTube, text document) and I would review each song before the event to see where the songs can fit in. I also accept requests from guests - if it works, I will fit their song into the set. If its something too obscure or will not work - I will try to kindly advise them I probably would not be able to fit the song in

We hired Arvin for our corporate party and it all went perfectly.
So many of our guests were complementing the music throughout the event.
Arvin took care of us and even went above and beyond by setting up a wireless speaker in an area that was too far away to get wires to.
We also had him work together with a dance company and he was able to coordinate with them flawlessly for their performance.
We would highly recommend DJ Sound By Science to anyone!

Arvin and his team were incredible and we can't recommend him enough! He was very helpful and organized throughout the entire process in regards to choosing important songs and planning all the key points throughout the day. Arvin was great at taking requests from the crowd and our dancefloor was packed all night while he played everything we wanted, from country, oldies, top 40 and edm. Arvin is a great DJ! He came recommended by my girlfriend from her wedding and he did not disappoint. We had our wedding at the Guild Inn in Scarborough and he knew the venue and the logistics of the space well. He was able to incorporate a great mix of Punjabi/Bollywood music as well as English hits, and we couldn’t be happier with the turn out on the dance floor! Thanks again Arvin :)

We hired Arvin and his team for our wedding at Holland Marsh Wineries on August 3, 2024. Arvin was amazing and everything went so well! All the music was played flawlessly, from the ceremony to the reception. When it came time for the dance floor, Arvin knew what to play and when.
