Shugga is one of Toronto's best known and most in demand Cover Bands for weddings, corporate and social events. With residences at two of Toronto's finest live music venues, Joe Mammas and Bar Italia, Shugga has had a packed house every Friday and Saturday night for the last 10 years.

Shugga is a tightly knit unit of Canada's top musicians and singers including members of Nelly Furtado's band, Thornley, Serena Ryder, Bedouin Soundclash, Johnny Reid, Esthero, Jully Black and vocalists such as Divine Brown, Alana Bridgewater (We Will Rock You), Janelle Monique, Selena Evangeline, and dynamic front man and lead singer Mike Ferfolia. With a massive repertoire Shugga can entertain a very eclectic crowd. From Motown to Soul, Funk, R&B, Rock, Pop, Top40, Jazz and more Shugga has every base covered for your event.

Shugga was amazing at our wedding!! One of the unique things that made their performance at the wedding incredible was their new "All Requests Live" service. All of our guests commented on how cool it was that they had a tablet present with an extensive song list that people could scroll through and request a song - and then the band would play it! They also learned a few new songs specifically for our wedding and overall played a great show that had many of our guests grooving on the dance floor right until the venue shut down. We would highly recommend Shugga and if you are considering them, go check out their showcase and see for yourself!

Shugga played for our wedding night, and truly, made the night. Our guests continue to rave about how amazing they were. In fact, Shugga was the first thing i booked after our venue becuase I knew for years I would hire them for our wedding. So far, 3 of my cousins who have gotten married, and now myself, have hired Shugga to play at their weddings, and I am certain many more of them will (theres a good 26 of us). Looking forward to many more events I get to see them perform at. If you're questioning whether or not to hire a band, 100% go with Shugga, you will NOT be disappointed. They ALWAYS make the party.

Shugga were absolutely incredible! They played at my 50th birthday party and they truly made the night amazing! Everyone in the room was up and dancing and we didn't want it to end. The All Request Live set that they do was a big hit. I'd use them again for sure and so many people at the party have asked about them too.

The Shugga team were amazing. The team was very professional leading up the the event and the band was magical during the event. Everyone was up and dancing through out the night and their request APP was a total success. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a high energy night.

Shugga and nick were simply amazing. We had them for our wedding at Liberty grande and they really made our wedding. Every single guest was on the dance floor having the best time and we received so many compliments about how wonderful they were. They are engaging energetic and incredibly charming. My husband Adam and I got married on October 6, 2013. After watching Shugga live a few times at Joe Mamas a few years ago, we knew they had to play at our wedding. This was one of our best decisions we made, as they were absolutely amazing! Every guest, no matter what age, has raved about how incredible the band was. They were able to keep the party going from beginning until the end. I would recommend this band to any future bride and groom!
