Welcome!
GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co. is a family-owned organic hop farm and solar powered brewery located within the rolling hills of Caledon. We began growing organic hops in 2009 and developed into the first farm-to-barrel brewery in the Ontario greenbelt in 2017. Launching GoodLot Farmstead Brewing follows a passion to brew terroir driven beers that support and feature locally grown ingredients. GoodLot Farm is about community building, sustainability and good people enjoying good beer and a good time.
At GoodLot, we are happy to offer a full-farm rental or a private booking of one of our three unique venues. We cater to a variety of gatherings from corporate functions to private social events to small weddings. Each of our venues is a delightful space that exudes a warm and welcoming vibe. The Oast Barn
An all-year round, indoor venue located within the old Drive Shed which was built in 1890. Newly renovated with exposed beams, pine walls, and corrugated steel accents that create a rustic and charming space. The Oast Barn features 9 to 10 beers on tap, a large bar area, a full AV setup and a roll up garage door which opens up to a small attached patio space. The space can accommodate up to 60 people mixing/mingling indoors (45 for a casual sit down meal).
The Hop Bin
An outdoor beer garden space located next to the brew barn and featuring the Hop Bin Bar (made from an old grain silo) as well as an outdoor stage. The Hop Bin has eight beers on tap and features large bright and colourful sun/rain sails that make you feel joyful while providing shade from the sun and limited shelter from the rain. The capacity of the Hop Bin beer garden is 110 people seated (140-150 mix of seated/standing).
The Good Spot
Another outdoor beer garden space featuring an outdoor kitchen (for our resident chef) and an adjacent fire pit area with Adirondack lounge chairs and views to the hop fields where the sheep graze helping keep pests at bay. Close by are lawn games such as corn hole and giant jenga, flower and vegetable gardens and happy chickens strutting around doing their thing. The Good Spot has four various beers on tap as well as the same large joyful sun sails that are set up over the Hop Bin. The capacity of The Good Spot beer garden is 110 people seated (140-150 mix of seated/standing).

The Oast Barn Venue Rental
- The venue rental fee includes the venue, venue's regular tables and chairs, staff to coordinate/host/serve drinks/set up/clean up and table decor such as fresh or dried flowers. It does not include drinks, food or food-servers if a full table service type of meal is desired.
- Four bathrooms, outdoor farm to roam/explore and a fun disc golf course (small, quick and very beginner friendly).
- Full AV set up with drop down screen, speaker system with blue tooth capability, a large, side garage door that rolls up and leads out to a small patio when the weather is nice and a wood-fire stove that provides warmth and cozy vibes duriing a winter event.

- The venue rental fee includes the venue, venue's regular tables and chairs, staff to coordinate/host/serve drinks/set up/clean up and brightly painted growlers full of fresh flowers as table decor. It does not include drinks, food or food-servers if a full table service type of meal is desired.
- Four bathrooms, outdoor farm to roam/explore and a fun disc golf course (small, quick and very beginner friendly).

GoodLot grow from serving beer to friends, to the opening of the Hop Bin, the Good Spot and their latest venture, the Oast Barn. The cozy environment the Oast Barn provides makes everyone feel they have entered an environment that defies normal time. And it doesn't stop there. The service I received from Monica who handled my initial inquiry to book the venue was seamless. All questions were handled expeditiously and her recommendations on caterers were also top-shelf. During the event, both Monica and Carley's service (who bartended the event) were outstanding, both participating in our themed event. I can't say enough about how much our staff and myself appreciated how hard they worked to make our Christmas Party the best we had ever had. At no time did we feel rushed and at the end of a very busy evening, they helped me clean up any additional props and decor I had brought in.
I would definitely recommend visiting GoodLot. Whether you are just wanting a drink and food in the summer while listening to live music on their patio, or grabbing a snack and a drink in the Oast Barn all year round, I would most definitely recommend checking this place out.
