My fiance passed away unexpectedly in Feb 2018. I purchased my dress in December 2017. My family reached out to Diva advising them of the tragedy one week after my fiance passed away. Immediately, Diva Bridal regrettably informed me that my $1500 deposit would not be returned and that they could not cancel the dress. My wedding was October 20 2018. I am a fair person and I understand process and procedure, however not only was I grieving and mourning the loss of my HUSBAND, I was extremely dissapointed and taken back by Diva' s lack of humanity and lack of understanding towards my loss. There is a lot more I can say, but I want to keep it concise. Its very disheartening to be amongst people who lack regard and empathy for others in unfortunate circumstances. And to top it off, Diva suggested that I purchase the dress and sell it... How disgusting!!! Nonetheless, I am going to focus healing from my loss and moving forward to a place of peace. However, I would not recommend this bridal shop because they lack a holistic approach to working with human beings. and as a person who believes in love, this is unacceptable. Read more

Oh wow! What a joke this store is! I got a dress back in February. At the time of the purchase, I have asked if alterations are included and was told yes. I called in to book an appointment with the seamstress and the receptionist said that I don’t need one and I can just walk in...did that today, but guess what, she wasn’t there. After they noticed that I am a bit annoyed, and after a 15 minute search of my invoice, a seamstress appeared out of the blue(or the back room), looked at the dress and gave me $210 price with a smirk. Why would I leave my dress there for so many months if I wasn’t under the impression that the alterations were free? But that’s not all, the dress that they gave me looks nothing like the one I tried a couple of months ago. The stones are all loose and the bottom is dirty. I have of course asked to speak with the manager but convinently she/he wasn’t in. If you’re looking for a good store, who cares about your needs, SKIP THIS ONE!!! Read more

i purchased an evening dress... on the first visit i choose the dress and paid for half of hte dress..All agreed the dress was a bit too big but that they could do alterations in time and quoted a price of $50 for the alterations.. On the second visit, I came with the appropriate undergarments and shoes to do the fitting. Once i put on the dress, it appeared large. The semestre came and quoted a price of $170 for alterations. I contested the price.... This was not a ballgown,. it was a cocktail dress... It was jersey material not silk... I said I did not want the dress... They refused to return my downpayment. I was left with no alternative but to pay for the dress that was too large, and leave to find a person who could do the alterations. Shame on the store owner... Shame, Shame, ShameRead more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE , HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! ! I bought my wedding gown as well as veil all together in this store, when the gown arrived , I took half day off from work for trying the gown and pick up because they are only available on weekday for customers already paid deposit, even they are still open both days on weekend . When I get there, I waited for one hour because there is someone in the fitting room on the first floor, and the staff in the store is not willing to open another fitting room! Even there are lots of fitting rooms available on the first and second floor! After one hour of waiting , finally got to try the gown on, a Chinese tailor was helping me, the length was ok, , I just need to add a push-up cup , and do a little tailor at the back , they told me I need to pay 400 dollar ! !!! I was in a rush trying the gown because I have to go back to work afterward, they did not give me the veil ! I came back with my wedding gown in the store to ask for the veil, they deny it, and refuse to check on their system ! The owner of the store told me that after you paid , that is it ! Our business is done, we don't keep any of the record in the system ! I still did not get my veil even I paid for it , I am mad for their customer service and their attitude ! I have to buy another veil to match with the gown =( I am wrtting my HORRIBLE experience here, hope the future brides see it will not suffer all this like I did , and choosing and picking up wedding gown should be a happy moment, you definitely don't want the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ruin your days !!Read more

I went to an appointment with my niece to Diva Bridal Boutique. First of all we were about 1/2 an hour early and we were told to come back for the appointment time. Not to sit and relax, look around, etc. Okay, fine. When we came back the salesperson openly looked us up and down obviously deciding what was in our bank accounts. The sales person who helped us was definitely not interested. My niece's price range probably was on the lower end of the dresses in the shop, but all the same, we had several dresses to choose from, so it can't be that they don't want to sell them. We quickly got the message that the quality of service you got was directly related to your price range. When we were leaving the appointment, I asked another salesperson if there was a washroom and could I use it. She openly ignored me although we all knew she heard me. The next salesperson I asked, asked me if the appointment was over and when I told her it was, she directed me to Tim Horton's at the end of the block. SO, we left feeling like they felt we weren't good enough to be in their store. I emailed a letter to the owner of the store after the appointment telling them of our experience and how we were made to feel and I didn't receive any response. Read more
