Chau is a women-led catering company based out of Toronto, Ontario. At Chau, we strive to offer unique, creative, and personalized options for corporate catering, dinner parties, weddings, food pop-ups, and more. We work closely with you to create a menu that reflects your favourite dishes, dietary needs, personal/company vibe, and size of your party.

Chau's founder and executive chef, Jane Tran, has over 15 years of culinary experience in Michelin and fine-dining restaurants in New York City, London, and her hometown of Toronto. She has established and upholds the highest standards for exceptional flavours, preparation, presentation and service. Although Jane holds a special place in her heart for pan-Asian cuisines, her other specialties include American, barbeque, French, Italian, and Southern cuisines.

Can Chau cover rental service for barware, glassware, flatware etc?

Yes we can! Our preferred company is Higgins. We help you decide what items would work best for your event, and can handle all of the contact with the rental company

Do you provide coffee and tea services?

Yes. Coffee and tea can be added for $4 per person. We use Wallace Espresso coffee for our stations and a variety of teas. We recommend you order coffee/tea for 50-60% of guests

I could not recommend Jane enough! In under two weeks, we were able to work together to bring a couple recipes to life and she was so present at a media event, speaking to guests about how she created these recipes and how they can recreate them on their own. She added her own personal touches to everything that all seamlessly fit into what we had pre-planned. She and her team exceeded our expectations.

Jane and her team are super responsive and able to brainstorm ways to make all ideas work. Her recipes were fantastic and definite fan favourites among guests. The turnaround and quality of everything was 10/10!

It is a no-brainer that I'll be working with and recommending her in the future for anything food-related.

I highly recommend Jane for a delicious, unique, and seamless catering experience! She helped catered for an event launch where we had an audience of 80+ attendees. She presented different Vietnamese fusion dishes that were all hits and provided a few vegan/vegetarian options as well. One of my favorites was the pho beef banh mi rolls, 2 very famous dishes in a bite! I was impressed by the quality and the presentation of the food because it was so beautiful and very artistic. You can see the passion in her work and how she tailors her services to strive to go beyond expectations. I would happy to use her services again in the future!

Jane and her team recently catered for our book launch event and our team was absolutely blown away by the quality and ingenuity of Jane's modern take on Vietnamese food as well as her team's amazing customer service. Her pho beef banh mi, summer rolls, and lettuce cups were the biggest hits of our event! Chau also handled the set up and made sure to accommodate for vegetarians and vegans. 10/10 HIGHLY recommended and can't wait to throw another event to invite Chau to.
