Comfortably accommodating 200 guests, the two story space located on Geary Ave features a loading dock, on-site kitchen, and and a bevy of AV accommodations. The vibe of venue is contemporary and sophisticated – a canvas further accentuated by the event’s selected vendors. The team at The Zoo Flowers created a floral installation and peppered arrangements throughout, serving both as focal point at the welcome area while also complementing the artwork on display throughout. Melanna Orr provided enchanting live music that captivated guests and added a sense of rhythm and harmony to the proceedings.
As guests made their way to the gallery’s second floor, the sounds of DJ Floh Back Productions expertly curated playlist provides the perfect soundtrack to their exploration of the space. PartyPix provided a retro photobooth for the evening.
Of course, no industry event is complete without delicious food from some of Toronto’s top caterers. ProvisionsTO served up phenomenal gluten free Miso Cod. The fish was marinated for 48 hours, torched, glazed, then served on a bed of smoked potato mouse.
Food Dudes elevated comfort food to new heights with their imaginative creations. Guests indulged in delights like the Tomato Toast featuring stracciatella, sourdough, and chili relish, and the Lobster Spoon adorned with brown butter hollandaise and quinoa togarashi. Their salads are known for crunchy texture and flavours, and their new Jasmine Salad did not disappoint.
Couture Cuisine tantalized taste buds with a menu designed to delight and inspire. From the delicate Tuna Tartare Cornet with wasabi aioli and yuzu pearls to the savory slow-cooked Prime Rib served with sesame seed milk buns and an array of garnishes, every bite was a culinary masterpiece. The interactive Poke Station was a big hit, allowing guests to customize their bowls with a variety of garnishes like furikake, pickled cucumbers, sesame, edamame, kimchi and seaweed.
